A Family to Laugh With

I believe that a family to laugh with is important. A family should be able to laugh at the past, and look foward to the future. Not every family can do that. Some families have a painful past, or a sad past. My family laughs at our past. I'm lucky enough to have a family like mine. Every weekend we get together and talk. We always have a good time. We tell each other funny stories all the time. Some people hate their families past. I always feel bad, that not everybody has a family like mine. I feel incedibly grateful to have a family to laugh with.

My little cousin Shelby was at my house a little while ago. She made me laugh by doing the funniest things a four-year-old can do. She kept on falling or sliding around the house, and landed on the floor either way. She would get right back up and start running again, with a smile on her face. I laughed at her constantly. She also would be sitting on the floor with me, watching Hannah Montana or Phineas and Ferb, and she would get up and dance around the living room, and sing the theme song. I couldn't help but laugh. She also acted like a waitress before dinner, one night. My Aunt Jess got her a little apron. She put straws in the little pockets and walked around to everybody sitting at the table. She looked up at me. "What do you want for a drink, cousin?" she asked me. I laughed at her. "I'll take the soda, please." She walked into the hallway and pretended to make the soda come out of the machine. She came back around the corner pretended to hold a soda in her hand. She tripped and looked up laughing "Oops, I spilled your soda, cousin." She got up and pretended to make the soda come out of the macheine again. She walked very carefully. She put the invisible cup down on the table, and walked away to get everybody else's order. She gave me one of the best weeks, of my life.

Another funny time, I had was with my little cousin Emilee. We were hanging out in my room, and she had an empty cup sitting next to her. My mom's pug Ozzy came into the room and she told him to go lay down. She shut the door, and accidentally sat on the cup. It went flying across my room. It was so funny that we decided to make a video of it. I have it on my phone. I always say that the funniest things happen when I'm with her. That's also because once, when I slept over her house, my Aunt Sue, Emilee and I all went to the store. My Aunt Sue got us chocolate candy, and Emilee and I opened them when we got into the van. I started laughing when I saw the foil the candy was wrapped in. The foil was gold, and I remembered watching Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory when I was little. I told them "Look I got the Golden Ticket!" Emilee started laughing, and it made me laugh. When we got back to her house, she took a sharpie pen and wrote "Wonka's Golden Ticket." We started laughing so much, we couldn't breathe. Her laughter is contagious.

Everybody should have a family to laugh with. Having a family to laugh with about the past, makes me look forward to the future. I want to watch my family grow, and have more stories to laugh about. There are still more stories to come, and it excites me. I have an exciting past, and I want an exciting future. I know that my family is looking foward to the future, too. I know that just by the look on their face everytime I see them.
